Visit to Steiner1888 Woollen Fabric Manufacturer. The traditional family business Steiner1888 offers you an insight into the elaborate production of fine woollen fabrics and Steiner1888 blankets. The complex manufacturing process is made literally 'tangible' — from the precious raw wool to the finest felted fabrics. The tour is personally guided by a trained guide and lasts about 1 hour. A 3-D film, informative short films, and interactive stations make the tour an experience for both adults and children. The attached shop provides a shopping experience over three floors with a wide selection of high-quality clothing, cozy wool blankets, and complementary accessories. You can relax and enjoy in the café after the tour. Guided tours are always on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM (registration required). Group tours for 10 or more people: registration necessary, flexible dates available, contact form here. No tours are held on public holidays! Dogs are unfortunately not allowed. Admission: €12, or €10 with the Radstädter Guest Card. Steiner1888 Shop and Café: Monday-Friday: 09:00 - 18:00; Saturday: 09:00 - 13:00 (fabric sales only Monday-Thursday 09:00 - 14:00).
