Guided Autumn Hike on the Bauernregelweg

What's it about?

Together with hiking guide Bettina Sandtner, you will walk along the Bauernregelweg (traditional weather rules trail) through the autumnal forest and delve into the knowledge of past generations. During the guided hike, you will learn interesting facts about traditional weather rules, old farmers' wisdom, and the significance of the Lost Days. Additionally, you will enjoy the special autumn atmosphere in the forest and discover the Bauernregelweg in a very special way. Meeting point: Meeting point: Köpferkehre at Schwemmbergweg; 5541 Altenmarkt im Pongau. The turn is located on Schwemmbergweg, about 10 minutes below Reitlehenalm. There is a large sign at the start of the Bauernregelweg. Detailed directions: The drive from the center of Altenmarkt takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Follow the paved Schwemmbergweg uphill for about 2 kilometers. The road curves through the forest and past meadows. Arrival at Köpferkehre: After about 2 kilometers (before reaching Reitlehenalm), the road makes a distinctive, sharp turn.
