Bach-Bosnisch – From Bach through Tango and Viennese folk songs to Bosnia What connects Johann Sebastian Bach with the traditional songs of Bosnia? Sebastian Gürtler and Tommaso Huber make surprising musical relationships audible. With violin and accordion, they combine classical music, tango, Viennese folk songs, and Bosnian Sevdalinka into a journey between concert hall and tavern, focused listening and lively joy of life. Virtuosity, humor, and spontaneous ideas characterize an evening where music mainly aims to tell stories. The program was created from an unplanned situation: when a concert of their joint ensemble AMARCORD WIEN could not take place at short notice in full ensemble, Gürtler and Huber stepped in as a duo. From solo pieces, improvisation, and shared musical memories, "bach&bosnisch" was born. Sebastian Gürtler – Violin The versatile violinist combines chamber music experience with his own compositions...
