Christmas Idylle in der Hofalm

What's it about?

The Christmas Idylle in Filzmoos takes place in the Hofalm area (valley end, about 6 km from Filzmoos). The Hofalm area is accessible in winter either by taxi transfer, horse-drawn sleigh ride, or on foot. Driving there with your own car is not possible. Paid parking is available at the toll booth parking lot. The Oberhof- and Unterhofalm (please check opening hours) are available as places to stop for refreshments. Table reservations are requested! A circular trail (duration approx. 30-40 minutes), softly illuminated with torches and decorated with various stations, leads you over snow-covered alpine meadows from the Oberhof- and Unterhofalm to the Almsee. Good footwear is required! Taxi transfer only by advance booking at +43 (0) 664 / 180 64 53. Horse-drawn sleigh rides: registration with local fiakers! Admission: €7.00 per person / children up to 12 years free.
