Christmas Idylle in der Hofalm

What's it about?

The Christmas Idylle in Filzmoos takes place in the Hofalm area (valley end, about 6 km from Filzmoos). The Hofalm area is accessible in winter either by taxi transfer, horse-drawn sleigh ride, or on foot. Driving there with your own car is not possible. Paid parking is available at the toll booth parking lot. The Oberhofalm and Unterhofalm (please check opening hours) are available as places to stop for refreshments. Table reservations are requested! A circular trail (duration approx. 30-40 minutes), softly illuminated with torches and decorated with various stations, leads you over snow-covered alpine meadows from the Oberhofalm and Unterhofalm to the Almsee (alpine lake). Good footwear is required! Taxi transfer only by advance reservation at +43 (0) 664 / 180 64 53. Horse-drawn sleigh rides: registration with local fiakers (horse-drawn carriage drivers). Admission: €7.00 per person / children up to 12 years free.
