What's it about?

From September 5 to September 26, 2026, artists (painters, sculptors, and photographers) will present their artworks at the most beautiful locations (alpine huts, hotels, restaurants) in the mountain village of Filzmoos. The art exhibitions at the foot of the Bischofsmütze offer a very special opportunity to experience fascinating new perspectives and insights amidst a unique natural landscape. The exhibitions can be visited free of charge, or even better, hiked to. More impressive than in the fairy-tale-like natural landscape of Filzmoos, art cannot be experienced. (The artworks exhibited by the artists can of course also be purchased.) Nestled pictorially between majestic mountains, gentle alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams, dark mountain forests, and quiet lakes, Filzmoos presents itself to visitors and guests as a mountain village straight out of a picture book. Visual artists (selected by a professional jury) have chosen this place to showcase their work.
