The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is one of the most famous operas in the world and a masterpiece of classical music. It tells the magical story of Prince Tamino, who is supposed to rescue Pamina, the daughter of the Queen of the Night, from the hands of the priest Sarastro. Accompanied by the bird catcher Papageno, he encounters love, wisdom and challenges. All puppets and the entire equipment were made in the workshops of the Salzburg Marionette Theatre.
