Advent im Gebirg with the Meissnitzer Band

What's it about?

ADVENT IM GEBIRG 2026 Tradition meets modernity! With their successful concert series "ADVENT IM GEBIRG," the Meissnitzer Band prepares a special musical Advent experience for the most wonderful time of the year. Since 2010, in the atmospheric Radochsberg Church in Abtenau, handcrafted songs have been combined with traditional folk music to create an extraordinary Advent musical experience. Together with the Gsenger Brass Ensemble and Marianne Brandauer, the Meissnitzer Band blends tradition and modernity into a varied and contemplative concert evening. "Handmade dialect music" in acoustic arrangement – personal, authentic, and very close to the audience. A special musical Advent away from the ordinary, inviting listening, reflection, and enjoyment.
