What's it about?

The overwhelming success of the Wolfgangseer Advent can be described with four keywords: authenticity, extensive decorations, events, and Advent boat trips. The Wolfgangseer Advent offers a mix of local delicacies, homemade punch specialties, and carefully selected gift ideas. Since the opening of the Wolfgangseer Advent, the surprisingly creative decorations have attracted attention. Giant Christmas trees, lanterns, comets, stars, candles, and Swedish fire pits in the three towns delight visitors. The lake plays a significant role overall – because the possibility to visit the Advent towns by boat is unique to Wolfgangsee. Going high up... Also again this year in the Advent program: the SchafbergBahn, which invites visitors on a nostalgic ride to the Schafbergalm. The emblem of the Wolfgangseer Advent, the floating Advent lantern, is 16 meters high and is the tallest structure on Wolfgangsee. A total of 0.5 kilometers of LED light snakes are installed on the lantern. Every Wednesday - "Wann's dumpa wird im Dorf" (When it gets dark in the village).
