Or is all this just nonsense and triviality? Michael Scheruga addresses the fundamental questions of our time in his new program: How left are the right-wingers, how right are the Greens, and why the hell do we have to pay beer tax?! Beer is already far too expensive in restaurants! The enthusiastic beer lover and beer sommelier is closely connected to the local pub scene and wants to vehemently remind politicians: - Don't mess with our thirst! - Beer is the last bastion! - The beer of the common man is untouchable! The VAT on beer should be halved immediately and this absurd beer tax abolished without replacement! With benefit events for endangered beer varieties, for example – or with the simple demand 'School beer instead of school milk,' to urgently counteract the global rise of abstinence and teetotalism.
