Pflegestammtisch
What's it about?
A situation that occurs suddenly and unexpectedly. A family member becomes ill and requires care. What to do? In most families, there is little timely discussion about what to do in case of illness. Caring for and supporting a relative is hard work and often a physical and psychological burden for many. To provide help and support for many questions related to this, our community now offers the 'Stammtisch for caring relatives.' This provides the caregivers with an opportunity to exchange experiences with others in similar situations, of course in a confidential atmosphere. To receive competent answers to questions about care and support, Ms. DGKP Aloisia Holzkorn has kindly agreed to lead the Stammtisch. She has many years of experience in home care as well as in inpatient care. She also led the Transition Care Counseling Center at the general public hospital St. Josef in Braunau for 20 years. The PflegeStammtisch (care regulars' table) takes place once a month and lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours.
