To provide valuable information and practical support to those affected and interested individuals, 9 Healthy Communities of the region invite to a lecture in the Stadtsaal Mattighofen on November 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The speaker, Hildegard Nachum, a certified Validation Master according to Naomi Feil, adult educator, art teacher, and journalist, will give insights into the disease of dementia and show practical ways to deal with affected individuals. The focus will be on helpful communication techniques as well as a better understanding of behaviors and needs of people with dementia. The event is organized by the nine Healthy Communities of Auerbach, Jeging, Kirchberg, Lengau, Lochen, Mattighofen, Munderfing, Palting, and Schalchen and is a successful example of inter-municipal cooperation in the region. Admission is free. A voluntary donation is requested.
