What's it about?

We warmly invite all residents of Mattighofen to our next public event on September 29, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the castle hall to discuss wishes, improvements, and renewals in and for Mattighofen or simply to get informed. Roundabout project successfully completed The initiative "L(i)ebenswertes Mattighofen" thanks everyone in Mattighofen for the great support and impressive commitment to the roundabout project. With over 30 creative submissions from the community, it was clearly visible how much the people of Mattighofen care about their city, its appearance, and their shared future. Every idea, suggestion, and participation makes a valuable contribution to an even more livable Mattighofen. All proposals were collected, organized, and forwarded to the municipality. This strong support shows: Mattighofen lives through its people – citizens who think along, shape, and take responsibility for their hometown. A sincere and special thanks goes to all involved. Already successfully implemented projects: - Bench project - Book exchange shelf - Design of the town square Already approved funding projects: - Bicycle shelters - Planting of the Trattmannsberg recreational area Cultural engagement Another special success is winning the SBG street theater "No to Money!" for Mattighofen. Date: July 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM Location: Voglpark Mattighofen (indoor alternative: Stadtsaal Mattighofen) With this cultural highlight, "L(i)ebenswertes Mattighofen" sends a strong message that quality of life is not only created through infrastructure and city design but also through art, culture, and community experiences for all generations. New projects for 2026 – for the people of Mattighofen: - Thuja Emerald series at the church square: demarcation from the street for more dignity, peace, and a respectful atmosphere during funerals. - Educational trails for elementary school and TNMS students: education, movement, and outdoor learning for the children and youth of Mattighofen. - Project "Ethics & Respect in Interactions": promoting respectful coexistence in public spaces – starting with: "We greet first!" - Playground equipment for small children: more quality of life for young families and the youngest residents of Mattighofen. - Traffic education garden: easing the learning of traffic rules – for more safety, education, and practical learning for children and families. Our motivation: A better Mattighofen for everyone "L(i)ebenswertes Mattighofen" stands for projects by people for people – for more quality of life, more cohesion, and a city we can all be proud of. The greatest thanks go to the residents of Mattighofen – because their ideas, support, and connection make Mattighofen more livable. Together for Mattighofen. Together for the people who live here.
