What's it about?

Music that speaks where words fall silent. Under this motto, Salzburg pianist Jonathan Lucas Hauser travels with his composition projects to places where people, cultures, or systems have become estranged from one another. His debut album "Piano of Peace" grew out of these encounters. Hauser combines his concerts with cultural diplomacy and peace projects, and for this purpose, he has repeatedly traveled to Ukraine and the Middle East. At Emailwerk Seekirchen, this becomes more than a piano concert. Under the title "Alarm for Human Rights," Hauser, together with the Austrian Institute for Human Rights/University of Salzburg and the American photographer Joel Carillet, dedicates the evening to the value of human beings. Music meets documentary photography and the tireless commitment to preserving human dignity. Encounter becomes music.
