What's it about?

A new passion for singing has ignited. Whether it was the balcony concerts during the Corona period or the choir ban during the same time, people are singing more again. Not necessarily always committed to harmony, but freely and simply following their desire: singing makes you happy, not just in times of need. This is particularly noticeable at Kulturhaus Emailwerk, where the diverse offerings in this genre have been experiencing increased popularity for some time. So it's time to enrich the diverse offerings at Emailwerk with another: "Karaoke". An after-work leisure custom from Japan in the early 1970s, which has developed into a popular form of entertainment here in Europe. "Karaoke" means "empty orchestra" in German and works as follows: The brave person steps onto the stage, stands in front of the screen, where he/she sees the lyrics of the song scrolling to sing along, with instrumental accompaniment provided. Most courageous people who enjoy singing choose oldies, as these are usually well-known earworms that one already knows by heart. Basically, however, it doesn't matter which title you choose.
