Mozart's "Gran Partita" is truly an understatement to call a masterpiece. The wind ensemble from the pen of the Salzburg genius/master represents something never before seen; it is an expression and processing of profound feelings and sensations, in a perfection that has never existed (yet). All of this must have been overwhelming for Mozart's contemporaries; the shadow of the genius was omnipresent. For Antonio Salieri, a Salzburg contemporary of Mozart, it was no different. Yet despite all the burden, envy, and jealousy of Mozart's divine abilities, even Salieri cannot resist the magic of the sounds of the "Gran Partita". Incidentally, just like the audience at this touching and impressive evening on a world-class musical level. Featuring wind players of the Munich Philharmonic, conductor Milan Turkovic, and actor Stefan Wilkening as Antonio Salieri.
