To inform about inheritance law, wills, and emergency planning, an information evening will be held on November 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM in KultOs (Pfarrweg, 5121 Ostermiething) organized by the Upper Austria Red Cross and the Notarial Chamber. What are the benefits of a regulated estate? What is the difference between inheritance and legacy? What does the statutory inheritance order look like among blood relatives? Under the motto "All regulated? – Information on inheritance law, will, and emergency planning," the Upper Austria Red Cross and the Upper Austria Notarial Chamber invite to a joint information event. District manager Daniela Renker and notary Dr. Robert AUSTALLER MBA M.B.L MSc will provide valuable tips on how people can use their wills to support others beyond their lifetime. Will donation for 15 percent of Upper Austrians Humanitarian crises, inflation waves, or lack of educational opportunities. The Upper Austria Red Cross takes responsibility and is there to help others. About 15 percent of Upper Austrians can imagine supporting a charitable organization with their legacy. They want to shape the future and leave their footprint in society. Donations enable essential services that would otherwise not be available. Thanks to the generous financial support from the public, the Upper Austria Red Cross can ensure services that would otherwise not be possible. These include urgently needed initiatives in education, poverty alleviation programs such as Red Cross markets, and engagement in youth work. "Those who give something of themselves become part of a large movement. Donors give what they can because societal cohesion and the commitment of the Red Cross are close to their hearts," says OÖ.
