Seniorenbund Friedenswallfahrt

What's it about?

The Peace Pilgrimage of the Seniors' Association leads to Sankt Radegund near Graz, a place of deep spiritual and historical significance. The town is closely associated with the memory of Franz Jägerstätter, who lived here and was beatified in 2007 – a symbol of conscience, peace activism, and steadfast faith in difficult times. A pilgrimage is more than a devout walk: it is a conscious break, a moment of silence and reflection on what is essential. Traveling together connects people – this spiritual journey invites participants to pause, pray together, and experience peace in community. The event organized by the Seniors' Association is open to all who wish for a shared pilgrimage and quiet reflection.
