Great Untersberg Pilgrimage

What's it about?

Meeting point: 4:00 AM at Marienplatz Start with a pilgrim's blessing by Father Florian. Approx. 7:00 AM rest at Grödig parish hall (bakery next door). 10:30 AM pilgrim's mass in Maria Ettenberg with Untersberg parish priest Herbert. Afterwards, lunch break, stop at Mesnerwirt. The path continues through the Almbachklamm gorge, via Maria Gern, Bischofswiesen and Hallthurm back to Großgmain. 7:00 PM final devotion Length approx. 48 km, sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are necessary. The pilgrimage is accompanied by a minibus.
