HARMONIC BRASS - Danube Journey 2845 km of pure happiness. The course of the Danube, from its source in Donaueschingen to its mouth in the Black Sea, is fantastic, mysterious, magical. The most beautiful metropolises of Europe lie at its feet. It is called the queen of rivers and is praised and sung about, loved and hated. Many reasons for Europe's most successful brass quintet to set out to explore this ancient European river. With their latest concert program Danube Journey, the ensemble has achieved a great success. HARMONIC BRASS is looking for the most beautiful stories about the river, boards a Ulm boat, explores the most magnificent landscapes and cities, and above all presents one thing: the music of the Danube! Like the river, the music of its bordering countries varies: sometimes sweet and playful, sometimes wild and unrestrained. Viennese charm in three-quarter time is replaced by wild Romanian sounds. Sometimes the river and melody are barely audible, sometimes they form a mighty current. All performed with the characteristic perfect HARMONIC BRASS sound and an unbridled joy of playing.
