What's it about?

The Glockner pilgrimage is the largest pilgrimage in Salzburg. After the mass at 7 a.m. at the Rauriser Tauernhaus, the pilgrims set out on the long march to Heiligenblut, with several prayer breaks along the way. Shuttle buses run continuously from the Weixen parking lot to just before the Tauernhaus starting at 4:15 a.m. Parking for cars is available at Gasthof Weixen.
