Steaming Satellites
What's it about?
After years on stage, countless festival appearances and several celebrated albums, Steaming Satellites have long been one of the fixed stars of the Austrian music scene. With their unmistakable sound between indie rock, psychedelic and a touch of electronic expanse, the band has built up a loyal fan base - not only in German-speaking countries, but also beyond. Since their debut album "Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party" (2006), Steaming Satellites have toured throughout Europe and the USA. Their music was not only celebrated in the charts, but also found its way into the film world, for example with the song "How Dare You!" in the soundtrack of the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal". On their last album "ANDROMEDA", the band around singer/songwriter Max Borchardt dedicated themselves to their love of Motown, creating an emotionally exciting and genre-crossing potpourri.
