Soloists, choir, and musicians of the Cinema Festival Symphonics Artistic Director: Stephen Ellery The award-winning music of Sir Elton John and Hans Zimmer combined in a unique concert experience, with orchestra, soloists, choir, and screen animations that touch and excite! This is "Der König der Löwen – The Music Live in Concert." The Oscar-winning soundtrack by film music legend Hans Zimmer has been shaping the globally successful animated film "The Lion King" for nearly 30 years: African rhythms and sounds paired with monumental, epic melodies. The moving hits by Sir Elton John such as "Hakuna Matata," "Circle of Life," and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" are timeless and composed for eternity. In their impressive performances, the choir and musicians bring the well-known characters to life. The great voices of the star soloists captivate the audience with their grace and skill. Every note they sing gives the songs an incomparable depth. Amidst this symphonic performance, the choir shines, bringing the familiar melodies of the film to life with harmonious singing. Goosebumps arise during the orchestra version of the iconic film songs. The audience is immersed directly into the world of Simba, Nala, and others as the songs are emotionally enhanced with artistic screen animations. Soloists, choir, and orchestra of the Cinema Festival Symphonics under the direction of Stephen Ellery from London have already delighted audiences with concert performances of "Game of Thrones," "The Music of Star Wars," and "The Music of Harry Potter." The ensemble is known for their emotional, authentic, and powerful sound that transports the audience directly into the film themes.
