NPHT: Primal Sulzbach Valleys & Mine

What's it about?

Together, we will hike on snowshoes from the valley entrance to the miner's hut, where we can warm up and refresh ourselves with our own tea and a small snack before exploring the front area of the Hochfeld open-air mine. Equipped with protective clothing and helmets, we will enter the 'Hieronymus Heritage Tunnel.' The ranger will tell us about the lives of the former miners and the mining history. Meeting point: Every Thursday at 10:00 AM at Gasthof Schütthof (Schiedhofgasse 115, 5741 Neukirchen am Großvenediger). The tour also takes place as a Christmas special on December 23, 2026.
