What's it about?

Together, we will hike on snowshoes from the valley entrance to the Knappenstube, where we can warm up and refresh ourselves with our own tea and a small snack before exploring the front area of the Hochfeld show mine. Equipped with protective clothing and helmet, we will enter the "Hieronymus Heritage Tunnel." The ranger will tell us about the life of the former miners and the mining industry. Meeting point: Every Thursday at 10:00 AM at Gasthof Schütthof (Schiedhofgasse 115, 5741 Neukirchen am Großvenediger). The tour also takes place as a Christmas special on December 23, 2026.
