Mozart Dinner Concert Salzburg 2026
What's it about?
Mozart Dinner Concert and historic dinner in the Baroque Hall of the Stiftskulinarium St. Peter Salzburg. Experience an evening that could have taken place in 1790: with the candlelit Baroque Hall, a menu based on historical recipes, artists dressed in Mozart-era clothing, and compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed at the highest musical quality. The dinner and concert take place in the excellent acoustics of the historic Baroque Hall of St. Peter, which is easily accessible in the heart of Salzburg at the Stiftskulinarium St. Peter, a location with a 1200-year tradition first mentioned in documents in 803. The Mozart family also visited here, as evidenced by an entry in Nannerl Mozart's diary from 1783. Today, the two opera singers and five instrumentalists of the AMADEUS CONSORT, established in 1996, perform arias and duets from Mozart's major operas "The Magic Flute," "Don Giovanni," and "The Marriage of Figaro." The famous first movement of the serenade "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" completes the program. The dinner is modern interpretations based on historical recipes from Mozart's time and consists of three courses. The concert is divided into three parts, each following the courses of the dinner, so that the music is not disturbed by the feasting... Each art form in its own time.
