Veljanov
What's it about?
Alexander Veljanov is the unmistakable voice of ‚Deine Lakaien'. For nearly four decades, they have shaped the national and international music scene in the field of avant-garde and dark wave. Since 1998, Veljanov has also been pursuing solo paths, characterized by a new, distinctive sound. His poetic charm and the captivating aura of his voice remain, complemented by lyrics about love, devotion, and transience. With his three very different studio albums, the frontman repeatedly shows that he does not want to be musically pinned down and also uses this music project as a playground for his voice and musical expression outside the Lakaien cosmos. Currently, he is working with his band on a new album to be released in 2026. In addition to new songs and a selection from the three solo albums, there will also be a few pieces from Deine Lakaien in the program.
