Andreas Gabalier - 10 Years Volks-Rock’n’Roller Unplugged
What's it about?
Close to the audience in the most beautiful concert halls, intimate acoustic live setting with band and string ensemble. Andreas Gabalier celebrates the 10th anniversary of his legendary MTV Unplugged chapter with very personal, audience-oriented concerts in the most beautiful concert halls of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The unique Volks-Rock’n’Roller, who usually excites thousands of fans in large arenas and stadiums, has consciously chosen a smaller setting for this tour in autumn 2026, where the audience is close and experiences his music more directly. For this acoustic project with handcrafted music, a special concept has been developed, focusing naturally on Andreas Gabalier and his band. The outstanding musicians give the unmistakable Volks-Rock’n’Roll its powerful, yet finely tuned foundation. Additionally, a ten-piece string ensemble adds depth, dynamics, and sonic breadth to the arrangements. The goal is to create an atmosphere that combines energy and intimacy through the connection of acoustic instrumentation, a large musical ensemble, and new arrangements. Those who have seen Andreas Gabalier on big stages will experience him here up close in an intimate live setting – supported by extraordinary musicians. Andreas Gabalier sees 10 years of MTV Unplugged as a 'celebration of musical-acoustic craftsmanship.' '10 years of a knight’s blessing in my career, I look back on it gladly with my team. And if you want to be part of it in autumn 2026, you have to be quick! Presale starts on March 13, and we want to celebrate with you, just like we did ten years ago on these small but fine and family-like concert hall stages. The anticipation is high, being there is everything.' On March 13, his song 'Vergiss Mein Nicht' will be released in an unplugged version. The day after, Andreas will perform this song on the Giovanni Zarrella Show.
