Tagebuch Slam - Diana Köhle
What's it about?
Diana Köhle's Diary Slam is a co-production with SLAM B. Duration approximately 180 minutes, with a break after about 75 minutes. Love Diary, ... Yes, that's how they begin, the stories from long, long ago, when everything was still okay. When Mom still knew where things were, or didn't know and was therefore to blame if you couldn't find what you were looking for. When the girlfriend of today could be mean overnight just to bury the argument the next morning and be best friends again. Diaries were written secretly, and now they are read aloud. Because the most beautiful stories are written by life. The evening will be filled with laughter, because we don't laugh at each other, but with each other. A time travel to puberty, because we all went through the same. It's not just the embarrassment blush that makes us turn red, but also a bit of schadenfreude, tears here and there, because we are doubled over with laughter. Or a mischievous giggle, a glance to the left, a glance to the right, and you realize you weren't the only one who tried out her first kiss with her best friend, because you had to practice how it works. "Puberty can really be amusing once you get over it." DER STANDARD. The first diary entry was on September 23, 1989, because life was tough in the mountains. After a long abstinence, she is now writing a diary again daily, as she still needs to provide "reading material." Besides writing in her diary, she is passionate about Poetry Slams. Since 2004, she has been hosting and organizing Poetry Slams (monthly Slam B at the Vienna Literature House and many guest performances), and since 2013, she has also been running the very successful TAGebuch Slam at the TAG in Vienna. In fall 2014, it was featured with 5 episodes on DIE.Nacht on ORF 1 (Love Diary, ...).
