JedeFrau - Tanja Kuntze & Torsten Hermentin
What's it about?
Directed by Nicholas Monu, featuring Tanja Kuntze and Torsten Hermentin. Also starring Tanja Kuntze (author, producer, costumes, stage), Ekaterina Smirnova (Multimedia Art Production, stage), Heinke Aussenegg (lighting design), Leonie Berner & Angie Mastorake (video), Hans Jürgen-Bertram & Antony Connor (recorded sound). Heavenly brothel? Women? No, Dame! Her name is Goddess! What happens when the dying Everyman encounters not God, but a goddess? The final judgment begins a merciless confrontation with oneself: with wastefulness, abuse of power, and a worldview where women were only accessories. But what about their stories? The goddess confronts Everyman with repressed realities and draws a line to the present: from traditional gender roles and religious constraints to digital phenomena like deepfakes, Tradwives, and the Manosphere. His supposed order begins to falter. Between defense and overwhelm, Everyman is confronted with an uncomfortable truth. But the realization follows: justice is only created where female perspectives are recognized as equal, independent human experiences. JedeFrau is a contemporary counterpoint to 'Everyman' — powerful, critical, and relevant. The message is: RESPECT — from everyone, for everyone. May she be the essence of what benefits and can save the world. Or, to quote the wonderful song by Lina Bó: Love is female, friendship too, hope, patience, and anger in the belly, desire is female, and also the night. A woman brought you into the world... and so on.
