What's it about?

Experience the city's landmark in the dark, listen to old legends and tales, and explore the darkest corners of the fortress with a flashlight: all of this is offered by the family-friendly flashlight tour for Halloween at Hohensalzburg Fortress. In keeping with the Halloween theme, the history of the festival as well as customs from the past and present are also explained. The tour is conducted in German. Participants in costume will receive a small surprise! Registration: directly here via the website, by phone at +43 662 84 24 30 - 14, or by email at office@festung-hohensalzburg.at IMPORTANT: The fortress funicular runs only until shortly after 5 PM on this day. Afterwards, you must walk up to the fortress and also walk down after the tour (about 100 meters elevation gain, approx. 15 minutes, not suitable for strollers). Please bring the exact amount in cash!
