Because it doesn't do any good to be in a bad mood about everything and everyone – and because every failure tastes merrier if you go through life smiling. Maybe his aging marriage will run more smoothly if he is primal joy. Maybe you can better endure the current messed-up world situation if you watch the news with primal joy. Maybe he even likes the red numbers on his account if he reads the bank statement with primal joy. Maybe he feels better if he looks with primal joy at some of his body parts that are just hanging around on him. Maybe the fat-free food simply tastes more delicious if he chews it with primal joy. And maybe a colonoscopy is more fun if he is primal joy during it. Why being primal joy might be the right way into the last third of life.
