Guided Tours of the Glockenspiel Tower

What's it about?

Under the helmet of the tower on the west side of the Neue Residenz is the Salzburg Glockenspiel. The carillon has been playing in Salzburg since 1704. Currently about 40 pieces of music, 16 of which are attributed to Johann Michael Haydn. The pieces by father and son Mozart are 19th-century arrangements.
