ATTENTION: Due to the specific stage setting of the EXIT VOID concert, capacity for this event is limited and tickets are therefore strictly limited. The ticket for EXIT VOID includes the entire evening program at Jazzit on 11.09. including the show by Matthew Herbert and the Night Train. Single tickets for Matthew Herbert (incl. Night Train without the EXIT VOID concert) are also available. EXIT VOID is not a classical ensemble, but an open collective – multifaceted in sound and conceptually located between improvisation, sound art and music performance. Arising from the collaborative work on a soundtrack for a video installation, EXIT VOID brings together a group of distinguished musicians and artists who shape electronic and acoustic soundscapes into an impressive audiovisual sculpture. For the new project, the British electronic pioneer processes sounds from objects that are particularly often needed in British food banks – including tin cans, packaging, bottles, soap or rice. The starting point is the fact that there are now more food banks than McDonald's branches in the United Kingdom.
