This summer, Lars Eidinger returns to Salzburg, bringing his electrifying mix of art, pop culture, and nightlife to Rockhouse with ANTI DISCO. The internationally celebrated actor, currently making global waves as the villain in James Gunn's upcoming Superman film, showcases another side of his artistic cosmos. feat Lars Eidinger (DE) Warmup Neon Panta (AT) Anti Disco ANTI DISCO is conceived as open, genre-agnostic DJ sessions. Eidinger works with a wide selection of tracks from rap, techno, breakbeat, industrial, and pop, deliberately avoiding dramaturgical routines or a classic club narrative. The format sees itself as a counter-model to stylistically homogeneous DJ sets. The annual edition at Rockhouse Salzburg has become a recurring fixture. Eidinger has been returning to the city for years during the festival season, using the DJ set as an independent artistic contribution alongside his stage work. Lars Eidinger Lars Eidinger has been active at the Berliner Schaubühne for many years and became known to a wide audience through works such as "Jedermann" at the Salzburger Festspiele, film productions by Tom Tykwer, and influential music video work - including for Deichkind. In addition to his theater and film roles, he has pursued a continuous DJ practice since the late 1990s; his first release appeared on the Berlin label !K7 in 1998. He is currently also in the international spotlight: Eidinger has been cast as Brainiac for James Gunn's upcoming film "Superman: Man of Tomorrow." The cinema release is announced for 2027. This expands his ongoing film and series projects with a major US studio production. The ANTI DISCO at Rockhouse combines elements of club culture and performance, showing Eidinger in an area of his work that originated outside of theater and film and has been continuously pursued for over two decades. Neon Panta Formerly a resident DJ of the Yeah!Club (God rest its soul!) and a member of the YC DJ Team, his musical spectrum ranges from dreamy dreamwave, indietronica to euphoric disco, Italo, and deep house, paired with a breeze of melodic piano and synth sounds.
