What's it about?

Tufting (derived from the English word "tuft") is a textile technique in which yarn is shot into a stretched backing fabric using a tool called a tufting gun. The finished rug is then glued on the back with special adhesive, and the front is often trimmed with a shaver. During the workshop at GRAND GARAGE, you will learn how to use the tufting machine and implement your own design step by step. No prior knowledge is necessary - the workshop is also suitable for beginners. Materials as well as snacks and drinks are included in the price. You come with your idea and go home with an individual rug. The workshop is held by Atelier Fleck from Vienna - Jelena and Ken Fleck bring their passion for tufting along with 15 years of creative experience.
