What's it about?

The 47th threshing week will be opened on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM and will be musically accompanied by the Neukirchen an der Vöckla music band. From 2 PM, a children's program will also be offered again. Sunday, 20th September 2026 - Steam engine threshing, horse cart rides, hand threshing, numerous craft demonstrations, folk music, doughnut baking, herbal schnapps distillation, spinning, weaving, etc. From 10 AM, tractor and vintage vehicle meeting at Stehrerhof. At 1 PM, a folk dance will be held. Monday, 21st September 2026 - CLOSED - NO threshing demonstrations. Tuesday, 22nd September 2026 - Normal museum operations - NO threshing demonstrations - however, the museum will be open from 10 AM! Wednesday, 23rd September 2026, to Friday, 25th September 2026 - DAY OF THE SCHOOLS. On these days, schools and schoolchildren are invited to the DAY OF THE SCHOOLS as part of the threshing week. Threshing demonstrations start as early as 8:30 AM. Of course, on these days, a number of craftsmen will be working in the craftsman's house and demonstrating long-forgotten traditional crafts. There will also be the 'Milk Path,' 'Washing like in old times,' and 'Potato steaming.' In the afternoon, normal threshing week activities for all visitors: steam engine threshing, horse cart rides, hand threshing, numerous craft demonstrations, folk music, doughnut baking, herbal schnapps distillation, spinning, weaving, etc. Friday, 25th September 2026, from 2 PM - Senior citizens' regulars' table. Saturday, 26th September 2026 - Steam engine threshing, horse cart rides, hand threshing, numerous craft demonstrations, folk music, doughnut baking, herbal schnapps distillation, spinning, weaving, etc., and a wooden skittle alley for children, etc. From 2 PM, a children's program will be offered.
