What's it about?

The municipality again warmly invites you to the traditional Community Hiking Day on National Day, Monday, October 26, 2026. The meeting point is at 9:30 a.m. in front of the municipal office. The varied hiking route this time leads over Mösenberg to Schmidham, then on to Maulham, Walchen, and Haid. From Gründberg, it continues back towards the town center. Participants can enjoy beautiful views and the opportunity to experience the autumn landscape together on the approximately 11.1-kilometer route. The pure walking time is about three hours. In Schmidham, a short rest is planned at the fire station. There, you can refresh yourself with a small snack and gather new strength for the rest of the walk. After the hike, we will end the day in a convivial setting at Gasthaus Fellner. There, a hearty goulash soup awaits us, which will be covered by the municipality. Drinks are, as always, to be paid for individually.
