Atout Klavierquartett
What's it about?
Second subscription concert on Saturday, 14 November 2026 at 7:00 PM. Atout – Piano Quartet Doris Kitzmantel, piano – Roland Herret, violin – Anna Dekan, viola – Stefanie Prenn, cello The second subscription concert offers a program of rarity. The Piano Quartet op. 3 is one of the few surviving compositions by Camille Pleyel, the talented son of the Ruppersthal-born composer Ignaz Joseph Pleyel from Lower Austria. Also to be heard: two youthful geniuses on the threshold of immortality. Experience the dramatic power of the young Mendelssohn, who as a 'poet at the piano' expressed the poetic depth of Goethe in music, and Schubert’s longing for family closeness and love – an evening about the daring and awakening of Romanticism. Single tickets: Regular price: presale 23 euros / at the door 25 euros Members of Brucknerbund: 20 euros Children/Youth: 2 euros Tickets are available in presale at www.brucknerbund-voecklabruck.at, at the Vöcklabruck tourism office, and possibly at the door.
