Does sugar make you stupid? And if not, how can we explain the average IQ of humanity? Why do we reward ourselves with a cookie and not with a Brussels sprout? Sugar makes you happy, but what about fennel? And why is 'Zucker-Fee' (sugar fairy) a term of endearment, but 'maple syrup elf' is not? Nadja Maleh likes to eat sugar. And on good days, she is even sugar — namely sweet. In any case, a Zuckergoscherl! And she knows: everything wrapped in candy paper looks super sweet: candies, bitter pills, goat droppings — the packaging makes the difference! Sweet temptation or false packaging? Crunchy grape or dried raisin — you are always wiser after unwrapping. My tip: always listen to your heart. Unless the pastry chef recommends you Punschkrapferl (a type of Austrian punch cake). Then listen to the pastry chef.
