Philosophical Soiree On a word: Friendship with an AI It listens. It is always available. It doesn't judge. It forgets nothing. And sometimes it seems to understand us better than many people. More and more people are talking to Artificial Intelligence not only about work or everyday life, but about worries, hopes and personal questions. Some experience it as a confidant. Others consider the idea of a friendship with an AI to be impossible. But what actually constitutes friendship? Does friendship require reciprocity? Feelings? A body? Freedom? Or is the experience of being understood enough? This evening we do not want to discuss whether Artificial Intelligence is good or bad. Together we will explore a more fundamental question: What makes a friend and what does the encounter with an AI reveal about us humans? The Philosophical Soiree invites you to pause, reflect and discuss. Look forward to an evening full of surprising thoughts, lively conversations and new perspectives – without ready answers, but with many good questions. Three people. Three perspectives. One question. Danièle Hollick is a Philosophical Practitioner, university lecturer and initiator of the Philosophical Matinees and Soirees at the OKH. She deals with the questions that arise when life is no longer a given: when certainties crumble, relationships change or convictions falter. What remains when everything falls away? He focuses on humans as corporeal beings and asks how thinking, feeling and experiencing are inextricably linked. He deals with the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence and the question of how we can preserve our self-determination in the digital age.
