Ensemble: AMADEUS CONSORT SALZBURG in historical costumes with two opera singers and instrumental ensemble. The concert takes place in three parts, each before the courses. Experience an evening as it might have been in 1790: in a baroque hall illuminated by candlelight, with a Mozart menu based on historical recipes from Mozart's time, performers in authentic historical Mozart costumes, and compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This experience is delivered in the highest musical quality by two vocal soloists – soprano and baritone – unique in Salzburg! Dinner and concert alternate and take place in the same room – in the excellent acoustics of the historic baroque hall of St. Peter. Located conveniently in the heart of Salzburg in the Stiftskulinarium St. Peter, which traces back 1200 years of tradition and was first mentioned in 803; even the Mozart family visited here, as documented by Nannerl Mozart in her diary in 1783. Today, two opera singers and five instrumentalists of the AMADEUS CONSORT, established in 1996, perform arias and duets from Mozart's major operas "The Magic Flute," "Don Giovanni," and "The Marriage of Figaro." The famous first movement of the serenade "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" completes the program. The dinner is a modern interpretation based on historical recipes from Mozart's time and consists of three courses. The concert is divided into three parts, each before the courses – as the music should not be disturbed by feasting... Every art form in its time!
