What's it about?

Every Thursday starting from September 3, 2026! Few historical figures are surrounded by as many myths and romantic notions. Many know her mainly from the famous films of the 1950s. These films shaped an image that still persists today: the young, beautiful but also melancholic and eccentric Empress. However, the real Elisabeth was much more complex. She was a woman full of contradictions – loving freedom and at the same time trapped in her role, admired and at the same time lonely, restless and always searching for new places. Admission to the museum plus a 3 euro surcharge for the tour (this may change with the start of the Wintercard).
