What's it about?

Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at 2 PM - duration 1 hour. Sommerfrische, a theme closely associated with Bad Ischl. Mainly due to the stays of Emperor Franz Joseph I. His presence in the small market in the Salzkammergut led people from across the entire monarchy to come to Ischl to spend their summer holidays here as well. Artists, nobles, doctors, the upper middle class, all were here. They stayed in hotels or villas. Most rented accommodations. Some also bought their own houses. The house where the Bad Ischl City Museum is now located also plays a central role in the history of the summer retreat. Admission to the museum plus a 3 euro surcharge for the tour (this may change with the start of the Wintercard).
