What's it about?

Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at 2 p.m. - duration 1 hour. Sommerfrische, a theme closely associated with Bad Ischl, especially through the stays of Emperor Franz Joseph I. His presence in the small market in Salzkammergut led people from across the monarchy to come to Ischl to spend their summer holidays here as well. Artists, nobles, doctors, the bourgeoisie, all were here. They stayed in hotels or villas. Most rented accommodations, but some also bought their own houses. The house where the Bad Ischl City Museum is now located also plays a central role in the history of Sommerfrische. Entrance fee for the museum plus a 3 euro surcharge for the tour (this may change with the start of the Wintercard).
