Ensemble: AMADEUS CONSORT SALZBURG in historical costumes with two opera singers and instrumental ensemble. The concert takes place in three parts, each before the courses. Experience an evening as it might have been in 1790: in a baroque hall illuminated by candlelight, with a Mozart menu based on historical recipes from Mozart's time, performers in authentic historical Mozart costumes, and compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This experience is performed at the highest musical quality by two vocal soloists – soprano and baritone – uniquely in Salzburg! Dinner and concert alternate and take place in the same room – in the excellent acoustics of the historic baroque hall of St. Peter. This hall is easily accessible in the heart of Salzburg at the Stiftskulinarium St. Peter, which has a 1200-year tradition and was first mentioned in documents in 803; even the Mozart family visited here, as evidenced by an entry from Nannerl Mozart in her diary in 1783. Today, two opera singers and five instrumentalists of the AMADEUS CONSORTS, established in 1996, perform for you arias and duets from the great Mozart operas "The Magic Flute," "Don Giovanni," and "The Marriage of Figaro." The famous first movement of the serenade "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" completes the program. The dinner is modern interpretation based on historical recipes from Mozart's time and consists of three courses. The concert is divided into three parts, each before the courses – as the music should not be disturbed by feasting… Every art form in its time!
