It originated in 2012 when Michael and Hannes intensified their accordion playing together. With Katharina and Martin, the ensemble finally found its complete lineup. They perform in two instrumental formations: as an accordion duo with guitar and double bass, and in the combination of accordion–dulcimer–guitar–double bass. The name came about when Katharina and Michael coincidentally attended the same "Pinzgadoggln sewing course."
