In the snowy heart of the Sauwald in Upper Austria's Innviertel, we take you into a world of thousands of lights and enchanting huts, surrounded by the scent of roasted apples and Christmas music. Far from the daily pre-Christmas stress, you can relax and get into the Advent season at our Waldweihnacht. Our Christmas market in the forest is one of the most beautiful in Upper Austria! During the Advent weekends, the forest transforms into a romantic Christmas wonderland. A flying Christkind (Christmas angel) provides heavenly surprises, while ponies and alpacas, the elf's room, and fairy tales in the tipi tent light up the scene. Around the Waldweihnacht stage, more than 60 vendors showcase their traditional crafts. Additionally, roasted and baked delicacies invite visitors to enjoy and linger.
