What's it about?
Billie Steirisch is the crazy 'Alter Ego' of singer and actress Gini Lampl. Billie is satire, comedy, and music all in one. The dynamic multi-talent was already very loud and different in her childhood and youth. She creatively expresses this 'difference' by giving Billie Steirisch — and her wild side — a stage. Billie became known on TikTok, where she started during the first COVID-19 lockdown to interpret English songs in Steirisch (Styrian dialect) and to depict relationship themes in a humorous way. The first viral videos soon appeared, and Billie's followers grew quickly to over 169,000. Another 59,000 people now follow Billie on Instagram, where she has been posting her music and comedy reels since the end of 2022. With successful formats like 'Kitty Talk,' 'Animal Documentaries in Steirisch,' 'Pranks from School Days,' 'Döblinger Doris,' and her unmistakable rustic charm, she delights her fans both online and live on stage. Billie has already performed here: 'Live im 25' in Vienna, 'Drag Boom Vienna' by Pandora Nox, in Vienna's Stadthalle, with Wanda, at Kufstein Unlimited, and at Donauinselfest on the Göd/ARBÖ stage, at Posthof Linz as support for OIMARA, among others. Billie performs with both a purely electronic setup and with her five-piece band.
