Generations Together - Senior Meetup
What's it about?
Invitation to the Senior Meetup at ZENTRUM.miteinander (ground floor of the castle, Rathausplatz 2, 4722). Senior citizens have the opportunity to spend time together. The meetings take place on the following dates in 2026: April 22, May 6 and 20, June 3 and 17, September 23, October 7 and 21, November 4 and 18, December 2 and 16, each Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. Elfriede Ameshofer, director of the Catholic Educational Institute, offers an engaging program for people who enjoy engaging with meaningful topics, appreciate humorous encounters, want to spend time socially, and make new contacts. It is about discovering the benefits of aging... the wisdom of aging. An invitation to realign oneself – "Be lively, creative, and active". In our crisis-prone times, find a new "orientation system" (quote from Gerald Koller, speaker at the Catholic Educational Institute) with the 3 WWWs: What is essential? What is important? What does it matter? Learn to handle challenges (illness, grief, etc.) well that arise from unchangeable circumstances. Encounter each other with mindfulness, compassion, consideration, and appreciation, and experience connectedness.
